This is really a nice place. We would have liked to eat there, but when we got there there was a sign "only with reservation" at the entrance. OK, I can also understand the corona time. After we were on site, I kindly asked if there was still a table for 4 people. This simple question promptly turned my back and whispered. "No table and no time either". I can't understand that. The food may be great, but as a guest you don't want to be treated like that because I mean hospitality!

A magical place for trips to the Münsterland. Whether by bike, on foot or by car ..... In this restaurant there is delicious food and cool drinks in a great environment. A very well-kept, spacious garden with a pond invites you to rest and linger. The Vinnenberg Monastery is directly opposite, which is also a feast for the eyes.

The 2 stars are only for the location. Actually, it would earn 5 stars, but the conditions caves are bad. I have never experienced such an impossible, rude behavior! Neither to adults nor to children were they friendly. Unfortunately, the staff was on a Sunday afternoon completely overwhelmed even 5 drinks to serve or record. Some should consider whether the career choice is the right one ....

Large portions of very tasty food

A really great beer garden! We stopped here after a long bike ride. The service is very friendly and very quick. The cake tastes fabulous and the beer is freshly tapped. There is also a small playground here for children.

Yesterday we dined in the really quiet and idyllic country inn for a cool reason to bridge the time until a possible purchase from 2:30 p.m. My wife fed ribbon pasta with sugar snap pods, cherry tomatoes, parmesan and garlic oil. I myself opted for the pork fillets offered in the seasonal menu, which were topped with chanterelles in a creamy sauce and garnished with a slice of kiwi and a small slice of watermelon on a little salad. There were also excellent golden brown fried potatoes with a lot of crispy bacon and onions. My wife loved the ribbon noodles. However, there was a considerable amount of raw spring onion slices in the arrangement that she doesn't like so much in this condition. Of course it's a matter of taste. My chanterelles also contained a considerable amount of raw spring onion slices in the sauce. I basically like raw onions, but found the amount "somewhat too generous" in the overall taste effect. The fillets were tender, but not top notch. The cook in the Wersehof in our beautiful MS-Handorf can do that much better. The sheer amount of the served food was simply too big, and so we unfortunately left some fried potatoes and pasta behind. Smaller portions than those apparently intended for gourmands should be offered to avoid food waste. We subtract one star for the even better tasting of the dishes. We will certainly visit this restaurant again to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere and the coolness that is actually shaded over the tables at the outside tables.
